I am so stinkin' mad!!! (kinda ot)

So I have one Kaiser options class left woo hoo!!! It is this friday :) So here's the catch... I had jury duty today and actually got put on a jury. I couldn't get excused and my job is actually shocked. Usually we get excused pretty quickly because of what we do but nooooooo not this time. I am so miffed. I will have to call Kaiser to see when I can make up my last class. I hope it doesn't set me back too far. I have really worked hard to make sure I didn't miss any classes.

On another note I have my MRI scheduled on thursday night. I will post as soon as they let me know what is wrong.

Should have had your doctor sign off you for medical reasons until your class is over.  Sorry that you got picked.  Hopefully it won't be a long case.

I dont think the case will be long but I never even thought of getting my doctor so sign me off... I wish I would have thought of that earlier. I was only thinking get this done now before surgery so that when I am on sick leave I dont get called then when I feel bad. And no one at our job ever gets picked. They usually tell us we are too bias but not this time.

No Way!!! Like I told you last night, I have always wanted to get picked for a jury! I am jealous! I am sorry that you have to postpone your last class. I know that sucks. I know it will work out. Maybe this case won't last that long.
I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers regarding your eye and your MRI. I hope soon you will have an answer. At least that is scheduled at night. Give me a call, when you get done with your test.

I know everyone at work is jealous because we never ever get picked. But I am gonna take the stance of "everything happens for a reason and there is a reason I am on this jury and there is a reason I cant finish my classes just yet and there is a reason I am having this eye issue.

My MRI isn't until 8:10 pm but if you want me to call you after it or the next day I will for sure give ya a ring.

I just finished jury duty and it is really draining.  It was domestic abuse or violence whatever.  It is really hard to believe people live like that.  They would get all drugged up and then start fighting.  The man was the only one charged but we really would have liked to see both of them charged.  I do believe that we have a civic duty to serve, but this is an inconvenient time for you. I know you won't know the results of your MRI for a few days but please keep us posted.

I can't beleive you got picked!  Is it a civil case?  I'm so sorry that you are missing our last class... but hopefully it's a quick case.  And a lot of times, there is no court on Fridays.  Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I know we never get picked. No one has ever been picked from our office. It is a criminal case that they say should only be about a week. Missing class really sucks but there is a reason for everything. Anyways YOU have a great last class and I will keep you updated on when I graduate :)

Yes... everything happens for a reason.  But hurry and finish... so we can be roomies at Pacific :)

I'm gonna call them tomorrow and see when the first time they can get me in is. Hopefully soon... I hope we can have surgery together. BTW I have another girl I talk to on here and she is in the Kaiser classes but I think in LA. She said that Kaiser West LA is scheduling surgery in February.
